It's the first of a series that Meg Keneally and her father, Tom Keneally, have planned to bring history to life. I've got to say, I'm sure glad I didn't live then!

I am currently reading "Kill Shot" by Vince Flynn. This is the first book by Vince Flynn I've ever read so I'm really excited to see how I like it.

I've heard a lot of good things about him and his books. Does anyone have any comments on him they would like to share?

Next up is Escape clause by Sandford. I started it once but could not get into it. Checked out the audiobook to start over. Fell asleep last night listening to it. :)

In "Forensics" popular mystery writer Val McDermid outlines the development of modern forensics (scientific analysis of evidence) - a discipline that has literally made it much harder to 'get away with murder.' Interesting and informative. 5 stars

Susan I am reading the excellent new book by Adrian McKinty, author of the terrific Sean Duffy series, called The Chain. Someone kidnaps your child and holds them for $25,000 ransom and for you to kidnap another child. Your child is not returned to you until you pay the ransom, kidnap a child, they pay a ransom and kidnap another child. It's fascinating.
