I love the Nero Wolfe books so much! 😎💖💕

In this 4th book in the 'Hannah Swensen Mysteries' the baker/amateur sleuth is looking for antiques with her mother when they come across a dead body. The book can be read as a standalone. Some yummy recipes in this book. 😎🍰🧁

I loved The Stranger Diaries, too!

Fairstein is very good with 'locations.' I always learn a lot from her books about the environs of the crime. 🙂

This is the first book in the 'Bowser and Birdie' series - middle-grade mysteries that are narrated by Bowser the dog. In this book, Birdie investigates when her family's stuffed marlin is stolen. Entertaining story. 3.5 stars

I found it to be tedious. My 3 star review https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I've read one book in this series and quite enjoyed. It's very different from any other series I've read.

Thanks for reminding me about Bony.

This enjoyable thriller reads a lot like a John Grisham novel with a dash of Perr..."
Snap Bill, I’m the same.

This is Dover #10, but the first of the series I've read. I didn't like any of the characters and the plot was rubbish.

:0) They are great.

Stanley Hastings #2. Light, fun mystery with some humor and great characters and plotting. Stanley is a P .I. working for a rather sleazy lawyer pursuing slip-and-fall lawsuits. Naturally, he gets involved in something a lot tougher than a cracked sidewalk.

In this Stephanie Plum book the bounty hunter goes undercover in an ice cream factory. The usual fun hijinks highlight the story. 3 stars

I finished that book earlier this week as well. Evidently I enjoyed it more than you did!

Anywho.. finished Redemption by Baldacci and U is for Undertow by Grafton. Not sure what I am going to read next.

When a man decides to leave his companion of 20 years for a younger woman, things take a dark turn. This 'thriller' is a bit slow....but it's an interesting psychological study. 3 stars

I enjoyed it and recommend it to cozy mystery fans.
