Around the World in 80 Books discussion

This fits in well with my reading plan for 2019. I normally look for books in translation to English anyways. But, I'm doing the Around the World in 80 Books again this year (a different 80 countries,) so hopefully will find a few books that were written in other languages.

The books I've already planned so far include Homer, Dante, Virgil, Dostoyevsky, Héctor Germán Oesterheld and Sun Tsu.

I will be looking especially for any books translated from any African languages. Recommendations are appreciated. I wish everyone participating fun in this year's challenge.
