Karolina (szarolina) | 62 comments Once again I'm not going to push myself and set big numbers. I want to read at least one book per month - that's already something considering I'm obliged to read also other things which are assigned in uni (these are often hundreds of pages per week). 2018 was the year of never-ending reading slump so let's hope this time it will be different.

#1 Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray | ★★★★☆
#2 Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë | ★★★★★
#3 The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde | ★★★★★
#4 Dracula by Bram Stoker | ★★★☆☆
#5 Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur | ★☆☆☆☆
#6 In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin by Erik Larson | ★★★★★

Lisa Heineman | 14 comments One book a month is a great challenge! When you have so much required reading, it is nice to do some reading for "fun" at the same time. Otherwise reading just becomes associated with work. Good luck!

Not really. It's changing all the time and I tend to pick books quite spontaneously, don't plan ahead.

Thank you! :)

It's often both for fun and for uni, not necessarily required but helpful in what I'm studying. I think it's a good deal, I enjoy a book while learning something at the same time. However, I'm also eager to pick something totally unrelated if I'm only interested in it in any way :)
