Happy New Year! Hopefully y'all are celebrating your new year in style *reading*and maybe evening striving to meet some goals for your new year's resolutions. Why not add another one to the list just a few days late?
This month, we are looking at the genre's we have found some real gems in but still seem to neglect. For me, it's romance. I adored The Kiss Quotient and will recommend it often, but I don't reach for the romance genre often enough. So after I compile my list of the books I'd recommend, I'll be making the commitment to read more within that genre for the upcoming year.
Please share you recommendations in whatever format fits best for you. We can't wait to see your blog posts, videos, Instagram posts, and Twitter threads! Happy new reading year!
This topic was perfect timing because I just realized that I tend to really enjoy scifi, but for some reason rarely pick it up! My list includes a bunch of scifi I highly recommend as well as a stack of books I'm looking forward to reading in the upcoming year.
If you're into queer romance then you should read Annie on my Mind. It's basically a modern queer classic that even almost 40 years later still resonates with reality.
I don't have a recent one but here's a post with 13 books that I (in that moment) recently read and think everyone should read. https://winkwilmarie.wordpress.com/20...
