I have a feeling that a lot of my reading this year will fit this prompt. Maybe I'll read Countdown City. The first book in the trilogy, The Last Policeman, is depressing af but excellent.

The Road, on the other hand, is an annoying, pointless slog.

Geez, lots of pandemic lit for me this year! I really enjoyed Station Eleven despite having some issues with it.

I don't know why, but every time I try to type that title, it comes out "The Handmaid's Tail." Which would be a very different story. Or maybe not.
