Cool thanks! Mine might arrive a little late.

Lauren Smith I'm reading this now. It's going *very* quickly (I'll finish it before the end of the evening) so I thought I'd just drop a few non-spoiler questions before I read ant further.

1. Out of the five friends, do you have any favourites? Anyone you identify with or whose POV you just like reading from?

2. What are your impressions of Demi, based on how her friends and boyfriend think of her?

3. So far the five characters are dealing with Demi's death alone, only coming together briefly, if at all. Do you think it'd be better if some or all of them came together to talk? What should they talk about?

Lauren Smith 1. I liked Siya's story the most. The domineering father was a bit over the top, but as soon as he got out of the house I enjoyed his narrative more, especially the way he feels like he's always playing different roles, but isn't quite sure who he is either. I liked the way Terry is revealed too.
I find the other characters extremely dramatic, although it's understandable given that they're teenagers and they've all just gone through something very traumatic. It's something that can get very tiring to read, but luckily it's a very short book.

3. Maybe it's because she's just died, but everyone seems to think that Demi was an amazing person, or at least a very bright, happy girl. From Damien and V's POV she's practically perfect. I'm wondering if we'll get to see a darker or even sinister side of her later. Actually I'm hoping that happens; perfect characters are boring.

3. Well, I certainly want James to be honest about his feelings for V. It seems like he's been covering up his feelings with the bad boy drug dealer act ever since they met. And it might help for V and Ashley or V and Damien to talk about Demi. Maybe Siya too, although he has other issues he needs to work through; maybe he should just spend time with Terry.
Everyone seems to lay the blame on James, but I'm wondering if that's entirely fair; will have to consider that question again after I've read the rest of the book.

1. I didn't really identify with any of the characters and didn't have a particular favorite. But I did want to know more about A as the book progressed.

2. She seems like the happy go lucky flower child who everybody loves. I didn't think too much about her, I was more concerned about her death.

3. I think that sometimes this is something that they might never get over, together or alone.

Will go chat in the spoilers now!

I enjoyed the book btw. 4 stars!
