I regularly pick up books based on either the title or the cover. The wackier/prettier the better. Did it live up to expectations?

Quick Update,

Just 11 books remaining to finish all of the March hands and 8 for the mini so we're almost there.

If anyone is starting to think about their April reads hands are now up and I've added them to the tracker. Lots of colour cards I'm afraid, mostly greens but our old faves yellow 7 and yellow 9 are making another appearance. Other than that we have a fairly even spread.

Can we start reading for April yet? I've nearly finished the blanket cover book so could start on a Red 5. Unless we have an emergency gap to fill for March.

You can start on books for April any time, just need to finish in April. I'll see if I can find a countdown.

Thank you so much for whoever has been keeping up with my UNO books! I went to update and they were already in the tracking sheet (AMAZING!) I added what details I remembered- and am pleased to announce that we have completed two more tasks for the march mini challenge: Commit the Crime and Hide from the detectives (whoo hoo!)

It was okay, but a little heavy on the teenage angst. The protagonist hadn't yet admitted even to himself that he was gay! There are lots of laugh-out-loud moments & the fairy godmother's name is actually Duane aka Coco Chanel Jones... The love interest is JJ Kennerly. Too funny!

I had a quick look over shelves and picked up any not added so put yours and Yvette's on the sheet, Lauren.

With those additional books it looks like we only need three more books and both the mini and the main challenge will be done for March. I think Lauri, Jen and Jessi have the remaining slots covered but shout if I'm wrong.

Completely unrelated to the challenge but I just got the annual email from Sync about their free summer teen audio book programme and thought I'd check you all knew about it. It starts on the 25th April and every two weeks you can download two free audiobooks.

Details (and this year's titles) are here. I've gotten a few books from them in the past. For some reason it never seems to work on the overdrive app on my phone but downloads fine onto my laptop. Not ideal but free books!!
