Yeah the more I look at that Vanished cover, the more I feel like it will work for dark cover.

I don't have a book set aside for that last 1 spot - so if you want to read one, go for it!

I'm sure happy we won't be needing to be all stressed about finishing things in the next 4 days - that makes a nice end of April, especially since everyone on Maisie Dobbs should have a good sense of accomplishment :)

I’ve been trying to save the October Daye books because I’m running out, but what I hear you say is “omg Kelly you NEED to read it because it fits that last card perfectly and the world TOTALLY depends on you”.

Ok. I’ll do it. Also, well worth getting into. I stumbled on them, and the series is absolutely brilliant. It’s the same author that does the Wayward Children books.

Lol - I have not read that series, but I keep hearing great things about it - I think that is a sign :)

Every book has been really interesting. She does a great job at world building and creating an interesting set of characters. And book 8....well, it was worth reading the first 7 for THAT twist alone!

I saw her (the author) in a couple of panels at Seattle Comic Con last month. She was really funny, and briefly mentioned October Daye without actually mentioning the series. I can see why she has so many fans.

So lucky!!! That would’ve been so amazing to attend.
