Edit: By PST, do you mean the time zone B.C., Canada is in? I suck at time zones.

I have school the day after and the liveshow's kind of late in my country so I can't participate even though I really would love to. Maybe next time :) But I'll definitely watch it when it'll be available in your channel, Catriona! Have fun! ;)

Aww thank you! I hope you get to attend the next liveshow.

Yay this will be on my birthday. Can spend the evening of it discussing books with all you awesome people. Also I volunteer!

-I've read the book
-I have a google plus and hangouts account
-The books genre "Fantasy" isn't my usual genre

I will be randomly selecting the hosts in the next couple of days, so if you would like to participate, let me know!

I have used a random number generator to select 4 hosts:
Michael
Emma
Lorna
Belle
I have sent you all a message via Goodreads, so if you could respons ASAP that would be wonderful! If I don't hear back from you I may have to choose another host D:
Thank you all for volunteering and I look forward to chatting with you all at the liveshow!

First of all, I wasn't sure where to make comments, rather than questions. YouTube comments section? Quite a few people were posting comments in the questions section, which got confusing. Also a lot of people just posted “Hi!” which was quite distracting.
I though all the panellists made really good points, but it was a bit chaotic having so many hosts. Maybe we could have 3-4 next time. I also had some difficulty hearing people because of sound issues.
I wondered who decides whose face is on screen at any given time? I just ask because I find it's helpful to be able to see the person who is talking so I can read their lips if I can't hear them properly.
Lastly, I was the top rated comment for about 20 mins, except for someone who just said “Hi!”, but my question never got asked. I don't know if this was just me because maybe they all display differently but it was annoying because I thought it was going to get asked.
On the whole though, it was really fun to watch/participate in. Well done to all the hosts :)

Sorry your question wasn't received we tried to answer them all. The questions feed moved the questions so your might have been pushed too far back.
Its not such a good idea to cut back on panelist because like with Dylan you never know who will actually be able to participate.

I think I remember seeing and bringing up you're question towards the end about the world outside of the OASIS. Was that it, because we did talk about it. If not, I'm sorry we missed it!

Hi Victoria! Thanks for your feedback, I'll try to clear up some things for you :)
At the beginning of the liveshow I directed people over to the Q&A link to ask questions as it's a lot easier to organise what has been answered, and which are popular questions. We did go back and check the YT comments and answer some questions there, but generally the Q&A is much more convenient.
As for hosts, it may be a little easier to have one less host next time, but I don't want to cut it down too much. I found that having several people was great for encouraging more discussion and there's more chance of differing opinions, but I agree that sometimes it can get a little chaotic :P
The way Google + hangouts are setup is to switch to the screen responsible for the most sound, like Lorna said - we don't have any control over that I'm afraid.
As for questions, things did move around a bit which could get confusing, but I did take note at one point that a lot of the top rated questions were ones we had already answered, which is why we didn't go back to them - I didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to discuss some new topics. Once we responded to the new unanswered questions, we did answer a couple that we had looked at before but it gets a bit repetitive after a while. I understand that people join the liveshow at different times after it has started, but we can't really gauge how many people are new or have been there the entire time. I'm really sorry we didn't respond to your question, especially if it was one we did actually miss, I tried to get as much answered as possible :)

Thank you to all of you for replying. Michael that wasn't my question but don't worry! Sorry, after I posted that I realised it probably seemed really negative; I actually really enjoyed the whole thing and it's awesome being part of this community.

No, no it's all good! Feedback is great, and I love hearing where things need improvement in the future, so I appreciate your message :)

The liveshow for Ready Player One will be held on Sunday 31st August (Monday for me)! The following are just a few of the start-times in different timezones:
PST: 2:30pm Sunday 31st
EDT: 5:30pm Sunday 31st
GMT: 10:30pm Sunday 31st
AEST: 7:30am MONDAY 1st
If you need to figure out what time it is where you are, use this: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock...
I'm really sorry if this is inconvenient for any of you, it's virtually impossible to find a time that suits everyone, and with my schedule it's even more limited. If you can't watch/attend the liveshow when it airs, it will be saved on my channel afterwards!
VOLUTEERS:
If you would like to volunteer to be a part of the liveshow, please take note of the following requirements:
- Must have read Ready Player One (obv. - you'll most likely be spoiled during the later section of the liveshow)
- Must have a G+ account (it will be hosted through Hangouts on Air)
- Must be available at least 20 minutes before the start of the liveshow (sorting out any technical difficulties, get to know everyone a bit), and can stay for 1-1.5 hours after it begins
- Must be 13+ (this is a G+ age restriction)
- You do not need to be have a YouTube channel where you make videos, you just have to be a part of the Little Book Club! HOWEVER I would like to encourage people who are fairly comfortable in front of a camera to volunteer, so that all liveshow hosts are actively participating in the discussion.
If you are available and would like to volunteer, just leave a comment letting me know!
In the future I will be giving a little more notice, but things are just a little cray cray right now XD
