Hi Everyone! It’s halfway through January already and I just realized I forgot to do my December monthly wrap up! On my yearly challenge I made it to 31 books and met my goal of 30 read in a year for 2018. How did you do with your yearly challenge? What is your challenge for the new year? I’m hoping to read 30 again. And with that said, on to the wrap up!

This month I read…

A Map of Days by Ransom Riggs- I loved the first trilogy in the Miss Peregrine series, and this one didn’t disappoint as a continuation. It did almost lose me in the middle, but the beginning and end were great!

Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand- I listened to this on audio and really enjoyed it. I’m not sure I would have enjoyed it as much if I had read it since it was a bit on the overly cheesy dramatic side. It was perfect for a relaxing Christmas listen during my holiday travels though! I’ll probably continue the series next holiday season too.

Last Christmas in Paris: A Novel of World War I by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb- This was another cheesy Christmas book, but I also enjoyed it a lot. Especially with the interesting format of being written in letter and telegrams.

What did you read this month? Be sure to share down below!

Happy Reading and Happy New Year!

My 2018 challenge was pitiful. I read 4 books. Lots of articles, blogs, and cookbooks but only 4 novels. On the bright side, I am on track to finish 2 books by the end of January. Fingers crossed!
