CPL's Book a Week Challenge discussion

Last week, we talked about which book has been in your to be read pile the longest. Now, let's talk about what's in your to be read pile!

Favorite authors? Christmas/birthday presents? Random buys at book sales?

What books currently make up your pile? I won't bore you with a full list of my pile because I think it's at about 100 items (I know, I know). I have a couple Agatha Christie books, volumes 10-12 of the Histories of Middle Earth, a random fantasy trilogy I picked up a couple months ago, not to mention the library books I have checked out.

I don't know if I'm ever going to finish this pile. Lol

I have my library pile on my coffee table.
In the office I have so many on the bookshelf from the DAV or other bargains I got. Then I keep going to the library to get new releases or continue a series so I never get back to this pile.
On my bookshelves in the den I have some classics I picked up to reread. We’ll see if that ever happens.

I have like 5 months of book of the month selections that keep getting pushed aside for other books 😬😬

My to be read piles are rapidly taking over my living room. Part of the problem is I'm addicted to mysteries, and keep getting the newest book in several series. I need to go through my books and get them a little more organized, if not actually under control. Cause we all know I'm not going to stop buying books. :)
