The winner for "shelf of the month" for February is quirky . An interesting shelf to be sure, but one that certainly fits this group and our challenges, lol. So head on over to the shelf and take a look and let us know what celebrates or brings out your inner quirky!

LynnB | 1769 comments I've read and enjoyed a bunch of them already, but I'll go with Stephen King's Elevation and/or Robin Sloan's Sourdough which have been on on my TBR.

I've read quite a few and especially loved Murakami, of course, & he fits 'quirky' to the T!

I'm definitely going to read Etiquette & Espionage (Finishing School #1) which I was planning to read for PnM (DYI) anyway. The whole series seem to be on this shelf & I do have 4 of them so maybe... we'll see if the first book engaged me enough to want to read the rest immediately.

My other possibilities:
The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making (Fairyland #1)
The Kiss Quotient (The Kiss Quotient, #1)
Geekerella (Once Upon a Con #1)

Allison | 2 comments I think I’ll go with ‘The curious incident of the dog in the night time.’

Marina (sonnenbarke) | 1513 comments I have The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao on my bookshelf, so I'll probably go with that one. Several more are on my wishlist, but I'd much rather read something that I already own.

D.G. | 1370 comments Several books by Fredrik Backman in there...maybe I'll read one of those...

Rosemary | 948 comments Looks like February will be the perfect month to read these, which are both on my Lost list:

Catch-22
The Lover's Dictionary

The Martian was one of my favorite books of 2017.

It has been recommended several times on Bookopoly picks, so I might have to read that one for sure.

Karin Well, the William Shakespeare's Star Wars books are published by Quirk Books, so I am assuming they can count as quirky. If I'm not done by Jan 31, then I'll have one of these. They definitely fit.

I just read TWO from these shelves this month, both by Joanna Cannon--bad timing, eh?

Kristina just chose First Among Sequels (Jasper Fforde #5) as one of my next Bookopoly choices, and that seems like a perfect choice for this shelf.

Christina (cmb1987) | 161 comments Going to read The Eyre Affair and if I have a chance I may try to also read The Ocean at the End of the Lane
