Well, if I need to double-dip, The Girl Who Played with Fire is a good go-to. I also have a copy of Headhunters.

Cheryl (6of8) | 247 comments I crossed this one off with Black Seconds. Not nearly as gruesome as the Dragon Tattoo series, but definitely Nordic and dark in feel.

Who's the author? I liked The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo okay, but I really don't get all the hype surrounding that series.

Cheryl (6of8) | 247 comments The author is Karin Fossum. Apparently this is book #6 in the series, but this is the first one that I have come across.
