I don't know if they ship to Canada or not."
I was just about to recommend that one too! It's my favorite subscription :-)

Nightworms is a relatively new service and I think Twitterstone is too. Both were created in the void that Nocturnal Reader's Box left when they disintegrated late last year.

Loot crate does a sub called Loot-Fright and they ship to NZ so they probably do Canada. It's $50 including shipping here which is a bit out of my price range at the moment, and it's not so much books as t-shirts and paraphernalia.

As a reviewer, I get a lot of books free from the publishers, (mostly ebooks, but some paper books as well), so I can't justify buying a box that might consist of a bunch of books I already read and probably own.

I hear you about the money. Like I said, we get the conversion rate plus some shipping. I actually belong to a t-shirt/graphic novel one for the last couple of months. It's about 24 bucks Canadian.
I took a look at night worms also, no shipping to Canada with those guy!
I believe that Nightworms is now open to Canadian customers. I do belong to this one (the only one I allow myself), mostly because they don't include a lot of "useless" things--they have quality books, and a few "bookish" items that you will actually use--especially to those who review. :)

i have loot fright and i've liked the 3 boxes i've got so far. this last one included a chucky & tiffany blanket! there's no books in them, though.

they are a subscription box. loot fright is every other month so there's all kinds of time schedules for them. most of the time you don't know what your getting. kinda like a grab bag.
