Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder discussion

Are these books strictly for women? I love murder mystery series.

Generally speaking, yes. If you're unfamiliar with this subgenre of mystery, it's like a whodunit crossed with a chick lit. So there's the classic dead person, list of suspects, clues, etc. However, in between that there's mother/daughter stuff, love interests, etc. Though I have read one where both author and protag was a man. I can't tell you if it would appeal to you or not, but it's the same genre but with more masculine interests (I suppose).

This particular series is also especially dry. No cursing, sexual content, or violence. It's not even particularly funny. If you're still interested I'd get it from a library if I were you.
