Decatur, GA. If I do, I won't be home for hours. lol

and Gabriel, having control of lightning - even a little bit. scary and yet really awesome! LOL
I never knew the full power of a storm until I moved to the South in the US. It's amazing to watch the storms roll in and hear the thunder rattle my windows. I can't imagine being able to wield that as a power. (hide spoiler)]

I read as far as the first 5 chapters today, but I'll have to avoid that 2nd set of spoilers for tomorrow :)

I haven't quite gotten into the book yet. It feels like something a classmate could have written back in high school creative writing. I love the premise for the book, I just hope the chapters and the writing can follow through and match (or exceed) my high expectations!

Made it to Chapter 22...

Hunter: (view spoiler)[Super loving Hunter right now! He and Becca just had their park date, and he's so sweet and fantastic!!! Has me thinking what's going to happen to screw it up. The book goes what feels like long periods without even mentioning him, then gives us that romantic scene? I don't know what to think. There's obviously something between Becca and Chris. Neither of them seem to know what yet though. (hide spoiler)]

Writing style, POV:(view spoiler)[ I finally got to the point of enjoying this book! For awhile, the writing style bothered me. The point of view felt like getting in everyone's head, but never deep enough to truly understand or care about any of the characters. There were moments where I just felt like, "meh, who cares about these characters and their mysterious powers?" and it took until Chris started explaining things for me to finally catch interest. Excited! (view spoiler)[Now I'm super curious to see where it all goes, though I wish we'd get to see more and learn more about this mysterious Hunter.
