Cassi | 6 comments I'm in a bit of a funk and I would love something that makes me big belly laugh.

SamSpayedPI | 2306 comments Terry Pratchett's The Color of Magic is hilarious, especially if you read a lot of fantasy/SF: he loves messing with the tropes.

For some more gentle humor, whenever I'm in a funk I love to revisit Blandings Castle, starting with Something Fresh.

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, Vol. 1

Gillian Wiseman (gillianwiseman) | 241 comments I liked One Plus One by Jojo Moyes. Chick-lit romantic comedy.

Scifi - the Vorkosigan novels by Bujold - it's a long series, but the first two in particular - Warrior's Apprentice, The Warrior's Apprentice and the Vor game are both farces in the best sense of the word.
