HELLO EVERYONE!

Your teams SS is now linked to both the chat and review thread. Please click the link, which is located in the first message of each thread, and ask for permission to view it. If it doesn't work, please let me know.

Each team also has their first puzzle that they can work on. Remember the challenge doesn't officially start till February 1st but you are more than welcome to start working on your blank crossword now.

**PS. The SS's don't have blocked out boxes for the letters that work for two words. You will have to do that on your own while trying to figure out the clues.

Now I've mentioned this on a team's chat but PLEASE do not change threads from being hidden just to add your guesses. If you do, I will delete them until you actually get those crosswords. There is a reason that each team only gets one crossword.

message 18: by Caroline (new)

Caroline | 2102 comments Yay!!! I’ve started filling in some guesses on our crossword, feel free to join me! :D

Since I already know the answers for all them, and so do Andrea and Felicia. We can only nudge you in the right direction. I can look at our SS though with you

ahhh yes, since Giulia doesn't have a gmail account I had to make it available to anyone who had the link - so instead of letting the other teams look at it, you can PM me your email and I'll share it to you :D

Yes, one book per letter in the crossword. We can take the first letter from the title, series, or author's name/surname.

Yes, that answer is correct. We could just all buddy read an E book lol that would knock out a lot of them.

message 33: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81946 comments Mod
Well since we have 11 people and 21 E's, we could all BR 2 E books and make sure that one of those E books can work for another letter. Just an option.

message 34: by ~ Giulia ~ (new)

~ Giulia ~ | 689 comments Haha that'd surely fill them "E"s fast

message 35: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81946 comments Mod
hahha yes, and I'm also allowing skipping "The" and "A" in titles but you can also use them for T's and A's if you want. It's up to you. Plus, you can use any edition of the title. For example,

If you want an E but you read Wonder you could use: Extraordinário

message 36: by Alaina (new)

Alaina (ameserole) | 81946 comments Mod
Also, how do we all want to play this? Claim letters with books that we have finished? That way we don't have letters on hold for a long period of time. Or claim letters with books that we are starting?

message 37: by ~ Giulia ~ (new)

~ Giulia ~ | 689 comments Maybe it's better to claim after we've finished. I'm a slow reader and if I claim a letter when I start a book, we'd have to wait a week before I can post a review ^_^''

message 38: by Caroline (new)

Caroline | 2102 comments For E’s I am planning to read Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman and Axiomatic by Greg Egan this challenge if anyone wants to join me :) But I am sure there is no shortage of E books!

For claiming I am okay either way. I am a slow reader too, so if we do claim in advance I would probably wait until a couple of days before I expect to finish rather than tying up letters for weeks.

Okay sounds like a good plan! Claim letters with books that we finish. I read a lot, like every day - so if I claim too much let me know :D I can also create a banked books tab or I guess a CR reading one? That way we can know who is reading what - idk if that will give you guys more work or not.
