Hey guys! Quick question. How many crosswords will we be assigned?😐 I saw so many listed in the "Review" thread.

And I've completely forgotten the rules so quick question 2: we will have to guess a title and then do start reading, right? The title will be rectified first, wouldn't it?

And a third one: how will we decide who will read what?🙈 Never done such a thing before.🙈

Hello, each team will be assigned one crossword at a time. I just posted all of them so that you could look at them or plan ahead.

So each clue could be a book title, series title, author's name, or something that usually happens in a book. Therefore, each book you read with count for one letter in any of those words.

As for deciding who read what, hopefully you and your other teammates will talk amongst each other and try and figure out what the words are beforehand. Then you can all decide what letter you will be reading for.

Today teams will find out what crossword they will be starting with on February 1st. So you should have plenty of time to plan accordingly.

The challenge starts on February 1st. The spreadsheets are now added to both the chat and review threads - you will have to ask for access to them since I'm sure people don't want people from other teams able to see what they are guessing.

Up to you though really.

That being said, you and your teammates can take a look at the puzzle you have now and start guessing on the blank crossword - just don't post anything on the review thread now.

Your teams SS is now linked to both the chat and review thread. Please click the link, which is located in the first message of each thread, and ask for permission to view it. If it doesn't work, please let me know.

Each team also has their first puzzle that they can work on. Remember the challenge doesn't officially start till February 1st but you are more than welcome to start working on your blank crossword now.

**PS. The SS's don't have blocked out boxes for the letters that work for two words. You will have to do that on your own while trying to figure out the clues.

Now I've mentioned this on a team's chat but PLEASE do not change threads from being hidden just to add your guesses. If you do, I will delete them until you actually get those crosswords. There is a reason that each team only gets one crossword.

@Jenn, Alaina and I were talking the other day about teams and she said she wanted them to be punny names. And I was like CLUELESS! Then she came up with the others based off like tv shows or movies? And I was like I want my team name to be Clueless! Lol.

Hi everyone else! So happy to be teamed with you all! As for the books I read and contribute to the team I’m going to just let you all know when I finish a book and you’s can decide where to put it. Since I have the answer key I don’t want to cheat in anyway. So what I’ll do is let you guys know what I read. 😁

I won’t be giving away any answers but I will nudge ya in the right directions if you are ever stuck or have a question. Just ask if you have any questions. ❤️

Where are we posting guesses to the crosswords? On the spreadsheet?

So you will need to fill out the blank crossword and add your guesses on the clue's tab as well. You can add your books to it as well but you still need to post on your review tab as follows:

Review: add link
Buddy: add link
Pages: #
Crossword that you have: Letter and # (across or down).

That way you don't have to specify your guess. I will be adding what book is for what letter to the review thread when doing scores as well - just in case. Plus it will make things easier on me and you guys if you move books around.

Yeah, you are more than welcome to start filling out the blank crossword and add your answers to the clue tab. You just cant read any books for that challenge until Feb. 1st.

You can read any genre that you would like.

So in your team's SS, you can type out the answers on the blank crossword. Then if it all fits, you can add your answers to the clue tab.

lol planning a head is a good thing! Then you can all figure out what to read before february starts. Only one team has completely filled out the crossword, so I'm assuming they are going to start planning books to read.

I see y’all are writing the answers in the clues tab. But if you guys filled in the blank crossword tab with the answers you’ll have some letters for other answers since some answers connect with others. ☺️
