I have combined two authors: Federica de Cesco and Federica deCesco. But some of the books of this author had the two names. Now every time I list her books, they appear repeated. Is there any way to solve it instead of deleting one of the authors? there're plenty of books to do it manually.

You need to delete the second appearance of her name from each book individually.

I went through and removed the second occurrence of the author's name. I noticed however that some books are listed twice under the author's name: http://www.goodreads.com/author/list/...

I didn't want to risk deleting the book without checking with someone with more experience first.

There are two potential issues here. First, it can take awhile for the list under the author to reset properly after you deleted the duplicate name (supposedly it's supposed to be no more than 15 minutes, but it can be closer to an hour).

Second, there are multiple editions of some of the books which need to be combined.

There's a third issue: you missed some. Working on them, now.
