Kristin, SarahKat, and Lindsay: Thanks for joining up even though you've gotten busy this year!
SarahKat, I read A Morbid Taste for Bones not long after reading The Name of a Rose. So, I kept picturing Sean Connery as the protag. Was a bit disappointed to see photos from the TV series, haha.
Crystal, Charity, and Cindy: Can't wait to see what you'll be choosing to read!
Allie and Kelly: I'm also a fan of mystery novels and have been reading mostly historical mysteries lately. I wonder if you have any favorite series.

@Dee I'm always loving the various seasonal and thematic images you post! Congrats on the birth of your grandchild!
@Diane I've always thought your profile pic was a Lazy Susan, lol.
I finally clicked it last night and discovered it's filled with books, not appetizers. :D
@Kiwi Begs2Differ Your heart-inside-a-kiwi profile pic is soooo cute! I clicked on it just now for a better look and unintentionally confirmed what I'd always supposed. Yep, you're from New Zealand.

Talk about planning!

Thank you oshizu, you got me curious so I looked more closely at your avatar, I love the dragonflies! is it embroidery?

I'm going to check out everyone's reading lists once they're posted.
Hopefully, I will discover some great new-to-me authors and series!

Thank you! My avatar is created by a traditional Japanese process called "katazome" (literally, stencil dyeing). If you've ever seen those summer (cotton) white-and-blue kimonos in Japan, their fabric is usually made using katazome.
