February was hard to get through because of life, so I'm keeping my monthly challenges low for March. I hope to get to more than 1, but I'll at least read the first Cadfael book!

SarahKat, I read A Morbid Taste for Bones not long after reading The Name of a Rose. So, I kept picturing Sean Connery as the protag. Was a bit disappointed to see photos from the TV series, haha.

Crystal, Charity, and Cindy: Can't wait to see what you'll be choosing to read!

Allie and Kelly: I'm also a fan of mystery novels and have been reading mostly historical mysteries lately. I wonder if you have any favorite series.

I've been in the mood for thriller/suspense/mystery (I'm I not always) so it would be ironic if I just didn't feel up to it in March.... Just in case, I'm going for a cautious 1 book for this month 🙂

Thank you! My avatar is created by a traditional Japanese process called "katazome" (literally, stencil dyeing). If you've ever seen those summer (cotton) white-and-blue kimonos in Japan, their fabric is usually made using katazome.
(view spoiler)[I didn't create my avatar pic but I learned/practiced the katazome process of stencil carving and glue-resist indigo dyeing from an artisan when I lived in Japan. Plus, I'm a big fan of dragonfly motifs! (hide spoiler)]
