Fantasy Buddy Reads discussion

Hi guys,

I'm doing a few book challenges and for one of them I need a book where the main character wears glasses or contact lenses. Do you know of any, beside Harry Potter? I prefer Fantasy or Sci-Fi, but I'm open to other genres as well. Only not romances! It's okay if there is romance in the books (as is often the case with YA fantasy), but just not pure romances.

The hardest part is that I only have €4 left in my budget for this month (already bought three books) and we don't have good libraries where I live, unfortunately (Overdrive is also not a thing here). I like indie writers too, if you have recommendations for those. But feel free to recommend more expensive books, then I might read it next month :)

I also have a Kobo ereader, so can't buy ebooks from Amazon.

Does Sunglasses count as well? Then maybe Super Powereds: Year 1, we are currently reading Book 2 as a (really) slow Buddy read and it's awesome! The eBook is also 3,61€ :)

Damn, just noticed it's only available on Amazon and I can't read that on my ereader (and I kinda dislike Amazon). I edited my original post to add that.

You might be able to read the Amazon book, if you jump through some hoops... Calibre, the popular ebook manager for PC, can convert ebook files between formats... AZW, Epub, Mobi, etc... not sure if you need to jump through extra hoops when playing with DRM books, tho, and not sure if you want the hassle... just an idea... don't really have any other glasses suggestions, off the top of my head...
