Hi Librarian team,

I have recently changed the covers for seven of my Roma Nova series and would appreciate help with changing the covers for the books here on Goodreads to the new covers. They all retain their current ASIN and ISBN as the books are the same – they only changed their clothes.

I hope I've given you all the information required, but please let me know if you need anything else. These versions should be the default/prime versions from now on.

I will message you abut the paperbacks separately. Only three need cover changes, I think, as the other four are new editions with new ISBNs which I can upload myself, I believe.

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default that will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. Please see: Setting default edition

I'd read in previous threads that somebody had created alternative cover editions and a librarian had deleted them and changed the cover in a different way, so I was a little wary of doing it.

But thank you for confirming that's the correct way. I presume I can go ahead and create alternative editions for the three paperback that need their covers changing.

You certainly can.
Please remember you have to be on the edition with corresponding ISBN when you are using 'Add an alternate cover edition' button for ISBN to be transfered to the new edition correctly and to set a publication date to the date the new cover version was released instead of the original publication date.
