The breakthrough is imminent. She wants to paint.
Theo is delusional. He has been emotionally seduced BEFORE he even met her.
He wants to catch Kathy cheating and when she doesn’t he’s disappointed. What is wrong with him?
I think Alicia is toying with Theo. The painting sucks him in further.

Alicia is smart, creative, and talented. I definitely think she's got Theo's number and has the upper hand with him - whatever that is.

This Theo guy is really something. The fact that he works in the mental health field is totally mind-boggling. Not only is his own life a hot mess, but he's also absolutely unethical in his actions.

Enter another character I love to just envision in my mind....Barbie. She must be a doozy.

Even though I still can't make up my mind about how I feel about this book, I do think it would be a good fit for the big screen.

I've finished the book and I still can't get over his disregard for ethics. I almost wish he had asked Alicia to sign a release to talk to these people. I would have felt a lot better about his outside investigation.

I’m anxious to see what unfolds with the Barbie character. Self-absorbed, but in the know. What’s in it for her? I can’t imagine that she would visit Alicia without benefiting in some way.
