So recently I went through an awful breakup; as in, really awful. 3+ years together and he had cheated, begged me to stay, then dumped me less than a month later via a text. So yeah, really awful.
I’m in desperate need of some book therapy that may help 😬 it doesn’t have to be breakup related, just something inspiring, heart warming and uplifting 😊
So far I’ve read The Breakup Boss by Zoë Foster Blake, The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a Fuck by Sarah Knight, and I’ve re-read my favourite heartwarming tale, The Alchemist.
Any recommendations like these would be much appreciated! Thanks ladies x
Lauren, I’ve been in the same boat since December. I also read Break Up Boss and loved it. My friend also lent me ‘Its called a break up because it’s broken’ and now that I’m in a better spot I’m about to read Textbook Romance. In January I also read Leigh Sales Any Ordinary Day which gave some perspective. I also recommend using the Resilience Project App to practice gratitude and mindfulness. I think all these things are what has gotten me through. ❤️
