What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

• It’s a scene in the book with the h & H, the H gets a phone call from his ex-wife & she says their child wants him to come over & tuck him into bed. The H’s child was crying for his daddy (according to the ex-wife) & the child had broken his arm I think (I couldn’t remember if it was a broken arm or a fever, but I’m pretty sure broken arm) earlier that day. The h gets mad, saying the H’s ex is using their child to manipulate him. The H says something about his child being in pain & if his child wants him, he’s going to be there no matter what. Any idea what book that scene is from?
