Utopian vision? Interesting

Virtually everything we read about the future in fiction is dystopian. The early church lived in difficult and desperate times, and yet their response was to love, to forgive, to stand up and die for their belief if necessary.

In my view, Christians do not live in an uncertain time, facing a stark vision of the future. We live in the present time of opportunity to live our faith, facing a future time when, no matter what may be demanded of us, we will be the light and hope for the world.
