I read Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments Series a little while ago and a hand paint set of tarot cards was mentioned. I have a small collection of tarot cards (15 decks) and thought that it would be awesome to get my hands on a hand painted deck. I don't think I could ever be a professional tarot reader or anything I just like the imagery. A few of the decks I own are already worth more money than what I paid for them because they are out of print. So I was just wondering if anyone else here has ran across something while reading a book that they would like to add to a RL collection they might be forming?

Nevada (vadatastic) | 53 comments I don't but I have heard that the artwork on the TMI cards is really well done. I have really enjoyed that whole series.

Mayko The TMI cards? I'm sorry which ones are those? My favorite deck is the Osho Zen deck. I have only read the five in the original Mortal Instruments series. I have not read anything in any of the spin offs yet.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/COMIC-IMAGES-... There is actually an entire set of these--the one that I've linked my daughter modeled for. And yes, of COURSE I have all of them EXCEPT the one of her.

Mayko She's really pretty and the fact that she modeled for that card is extremely cool :)

In another book series I read the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning a character (Mac) gets to view a set of tarot cards that depicts snapshots of her life on each card. I'm thinking that would be cool to add to my collection as well.
