OK, so, another one I have never heard of so back to Wiki. American singer/songwriter/guitarist. Ex member of Drive-By Truckers who I might have sort of kinda heard of somewhere (probably a previous themes round or something, no idea).

Seems to be about 6 or so solo albums, which I assume we are restricted to but Val will keep us right on that one.

Thanks for nominating this, Val. I remember listening to "Southeastern" on Spotify a few years ago and enjoying it.
He is the kind of artist that I enjoy, and I don't know why I haven't listened to more of his stuff - I'll be putting that right now.
Incidentally, one of my favourite artists, Josh Ritter, has a new album out in April that he recorded with Jason Isbell's
band, the 400 Unit.

Way way way out in front this week, its SussexWelsh with Children Of Children. The silver medal belongs to Val herself, with 24 Frames, leaving the bronze for Johnny's nom, Elephant.

Bit of a mixed reaction to that one, have to admit I did enjoy two or three tracks, but I might also have picked up one for the next detest round.
