Goodreads has a similar author feature. It is probably more than a slight misnomer. It is more like an "other authors readers have enjoyed" whereby Goodreads has an algorithm that somehow looks at authors readers have also shelved. I don't pretend to understand how they do it.
I extracted the authors on the similar authors list and then alphabetized the list rather than leave them one beneath their respective "similar" author.

Yes, the three authors are included.

No, only the author names as they are published will work.

Yes.

I think I would not plan on this title for this task. It is true Carroll's name is shown first on the covers, and GR usually uses that criteria for showing the primary author. However, I think this is a spoof/adaptation. I have asked in the librarian's group for another opinion.

A Parchment of Leaves by Silas House
Oystercatchers by Susan Fletcher
Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
The Custom of the Country by Edith Wharton
The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton
The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë
The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
