Also I like third person because you see the wider variety of each characters and you see how they are completely different. It is easy to distinguish every character. It is like watching TV. However you are not experiencing someones emotions as much as first-person.

I also like third person.if the auther is clever he will let you feel the characters through his vision.in first person you only know the things that the mc know.if he is in the dark, you too are kept in the dark..while in the third person we see the story as a someone who is watching the characters staying in a side so get to know the story through every character.with that you are not in the dark.every secret is revealed to you.then you are dying till the characters get aware of them.i prefer that also.
Actually I think it doesn't matter wheather the story is written in first person or third person.if the auther is clever he know which one to choose.and it becomes unique to to that story.

In first person you get to focus the main character as an individual.
In second-person is like an instruction what you need to do and is very direct.
In third-person is like a full over view of various types of character.
I wonder if there is such thing as fouth-person or fifth-person.
