This is less....dreamlike in quality.
And details the process which causes this to happen - it's a function of the place they've crashed, not any kind of technology they brought with them.

There was some...scientific mission and the ship crashes on this planet. I don't remember much but...for some reason the crew slowly takes on aspects of the gods of that world? I think? I remember there being two crew members who become the avatars of an evil god and a good god and them being in conflict - like, their personalities naturally tended that way somehow but the longer they were there the more they shifted towards those identities both physically and mentally, and the one becoming evil embraced it faster?
argh...so much of this is very very vague memory.
