Hello!

I am happy to say that the March readathon will be starting in less than 24 hours (for me at least). I am planning on updating frequently and replying to any comments people leave during the readathon, so don't be shy.

As far as a plan for the readathon, I will be starting off by finishing up a few novels that I have been reading for quite a while. Once I finish those up, I will be reading the book of the month for March, which is Made You Up by Francesca Zappia. I have read it before and I loved it so much, I hope everyone else enjoys it as well.

I am participating in the Popsugar-rush this month, and I will open a discussion later today with more details and so we have a place to update each other on our reading journey.

What are you guys planning on reading during the readathon? Are you going to participate in the Popsugar-rush mini-challenge?

Happy reading,
Amelia

Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments I’m not sure exactly what I’ll be in the mood for, but I’m considering reading Sanity & Tallulah tomorrow.

Lynn (lynnsreads) I am reading Cheaper by the Dozen (I got it from the library.) So my first goal is to finish this one. Past that, I am not sure.

Yes, I will try to see if my books match the Popsugar Challenge. I looked through it and there are some parts that I will probably complete.

Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments Oh, forgot the second part - I’m not doing the popsugar rush, only because I’ve already got so many, I’m not really worried about reaching it right now

Sassenach (joellesassenach) | 26 comments Hi all,

The readathon has already started for me as I'm in France so ahead in time :) I plan to finish at leas two or three of the books I'm currently reading and also read some graphic novels on the side ! Let's hope the day will be quiet and allow me some quality reading time :)

And I'll try to fit some of my books to match with the popsugar challenge but I'm sure I won't be able to do all the themes offered in it !

Happy reading :)

Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments I’ve decided (mostly) on my TBR -

I’m reading

Sanity and Tallulah

A section of Bygone Badass Broads

and maybe part of a novel

I just finished my first novella for the readathon, which was We Should Hang Out Sometime by Josh Sundquist. It was a light and fun book to start off my readathon with. I just started my second book, which is another contemporary novella and I’m very excited!

Happy reading,
Amelia

Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments I finished my first book (graphic novel) Sanity & Tallulah that was adorable and fun.

I’m working on Bygone Badass Broads now, and deciding on an audiobook for when I clean this afternoon

Teri | 2 comments Im reading Mending Fences, Becoming Mrs Lewis, Toss, and maybe the 3rd book in the Zion Chronicles

message 10: by Louise (new)

Louise Morris | 7 comments Reading A City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert which I won off Goodreads. Interesting so far.

Netanel Kleinman | 9 comments Reading Shakespeare: The World as Stage and about to finish it. I'm also finishing reading In Memoriam which has been a wonderful long poem that I have spent far too much time simply luxuriating over my own slow reading of the poem. Not sure what I will read after that!

message 12: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments Finished up a second book - Bygone Badass Broads which I really enjoyed for the snark of it all 😂

message 13: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (lynnsreads) As usual, I changed plans. Before logging off of Goodreads I got involved in a discussion about a book I read in the mid 1970s. I have been rereading Alas, Babylon. I am on page 170/270.

Sassenach (joellesassenach) | 26 comments Finished one book and one graphic novel and I've another book quite done so I'm sure I'll finish it for the readathon :)

Elizabeth Mellen (librarypatronus) | 37 comments Finished a 3rd (and final, as it’s 11:15) book so today was:

Sanity & Tallulah
Bygone Badass Broads
Gone with the Nerd

message 16: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (lynnsreads) I read this book today Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank . It took about six and half hours to read the book completely, but I liked it. It was a reread for me. Now, it is definitely time for sleep. Happy reading everyone.

Good job and congratulations to everyone who participated in the March readathon. It’s only 9pm where I live, so I might be able to finish one or maybe two more novels before the day is over. I ended up listening to books all day just because it turned out to be easier with everything else I had to do outside of reading.

Happy reading,
Amelia

What good quality reading material you chose Natanel. Your book In Memoriam is one I have not heard of before. Thanks for introducing us to it.

Sassenach (joellesassenach) | 26 comments Hi all,

I just went straight to bed at the end of the readathon without posting my reading report :) And in the morning, it was house cleaning time (as every Sunday morning) so here I am now :)

I managed to finish three books in total and I also read two graphic novels ... not too bad for the day which was pretty busy with some neighbors visiting us ;)

Hope you were all happy with your reading !

I’m so happy that everyone had a productive readathon. I ended up listening to 5 novellas yesterday, which were all contemporary/romance novels. I liked most of them (they ranged between 3 to 5 stars). I’m very proud of what I did and I even knocked a couple prompts off the Popsugar challenge!

Happy reading,
Amelia
