I have a few books I need to finish up first. So wanna start this weekend?

I'm a little over 2 hours in. So far I'm really enjoying it! I'm gonna take a break to start my other buddy read book. I'll be bouncing back and forth between the 2 books today

About 4 hhrs in! Yes - really cute !! I love it so far!!

If the other book isn't as entertaining I'll probably be jumping back on this one sooner rather than later 😂

I'm liking the other book too! I lucked out this month. About to start this one up again so i can catch up with you

Im gonna pause now and let you catch up - im at the part where she meets his mom .... (view spoiler)[ that part made me cringe, she was sooo awkward (hide spoiler)] so taking a break now :)

And boooy is it taking them forever to get to actually having sex !!!

Just finished the dinner disaster scene. That was brutal.

I was up into the night reading and finished it now on my way to work ....
loved it ! it is super cute ....

Overall - a the beginning - I was a bit grossed out by Michael's initial mention of STDs (weekly std tests, at the beginning of the book, and the implication that he never knew if he had some disease - gross! ) and hundreds of women he mentioned sleeping with - ew ! :)


And there were a little too many "secrets" towards the end , that were not really secrets .... like that his dad was a criminal and that she has autism .... His dad's criminal activity was a bit comical ... like really ?! He was that big of a criminal for sleeping with women and scamming them , that he was in the news and written about in the newspapers ?! Really ?!

But overall - really liked it!!

Finished! For the most part I really liked this one!

I was also disappointed in the "big reveal" with the dad. By the way Michael was acting I expected him to be this horrible monster. What he did was wrong but I was just left with a feeling of... that's it? That's what Michael has allowed to completely shape his entire existence? From his business to his love life?? Seemed a bit overdramatic. But so was destroying all his sketch books and garments :/

BUT it was still a really cute story and I loved that the heroine was autistic. I'd definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a romance with an imperfect MC

yes - exactly. overdramatic for something that was bad but not really monstrous. And I was totally cringing at his drama-queen shredding of his designs and destroying the sketchbooks . Was that really necessary ?!

I am really looking forward to the author's next book ... I see that it's also an autistic MC ...

Though I hope that the author doesn't just reuse the same character (autistic hero , in this case) and makes the character seem the same and just milks the same thing over and over again....
