Caru i recently finished Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets of The Universe.
I lovedddd it!

message 3: by Bharvi (new)

Bharvi I'm was planning on reading it, so would you recommend it to someone? If you have read Divergent (I bet you have), how would you compare them?

message 4: by Nikita (new)

Nikita I recently finished Silver Shadows (Bloodlines, #5) by Richelle Mead

message 5: by Caru (new)

Caru @Bharvi: You should definitely read it next! Seriously, I'd recommend it to ANYONE. It's one of the best books I've ever read. Way better than Divergent (I loved that too though). Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets Of the Universe is funny, sad, and just so heartfelt. Plus it's actually kinda short, like the way the chapters are written. :D

message 6: by Bharvi (new)

Bharvi Thanks, Carina

I just finished People's Republic by Robert Muchamore

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments I just finished The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater and OMG I am loving the Raven Cycle series! 10 more days until book 3 comes out :)

Going to start The Mysterious Howling (The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place #1) by Maryrose Wood tomorrow. I don't know what it's about, but I saw it at the library and loved the cover so went ahead and picked it up.

message 25: by Caru (new)

Caru @Tommy: Glad to hear you liked The Dream Thieves, I'm planning on reading it soon!

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments Finished Theodosia and the Serpents of Chaos (Theodosia Throckmorton, #1) by R.L. LaFevers last night. I enjoyed, but did not love it. If you're looking for a series involving magic(Egyptian curses in particular) starring a very smart and enjoyable young girl(eleven), I'd consider this one.

I'm going to start Legacy Code (Legacy Code #1) by Autumn Kalquist later tonight. It's book one of a scifi series that I got to review. Seems to be more space fairing than dystopian, which I welcome at the moment.

message 33: by Nikita (new)

Nikita Finished Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins yesterday. Now I'm ready for the movie.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments I finished The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking, #2) by Patrick Ness and loved it. Better than book one, which I also loved.

I just finished The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead and that book was amazing.

message 47: by Tommy (new)

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 93 comments The other night I finished a couple books

The Alchemyst (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, #1) by Michael Scott which took a bit to get into and felt a bit more info-dumpy at parts than I thought necessary, but ultimately I enjoyed it.

&

Zot! by Scott McCloud which, if you're a comics fan, I absolutely recommend, but if not, I don't think it's essential reading.
