hmmm..this one is tough
(view spoiler)
and for the first time (view spoiler)
Maya (view spoiler)

but I think there is a sense of the end...even before it's coming. The book does a great job of building the feeling of bitter sweet because you just know...(view spoiler)
but I didn't think it would end quite this way....(view spoiler)
and I think what makes me mad is the mom (view spoiler) ugh.

I can't do spoilers because I'm on my phone. I'll post more about what I think and feel about the characters and story later.

But I love love love Lochan! And the way he feels he needs to protect his brothers and sister!
Later when all of you finish the book I would want to know how you guys feel about Maya and Lochan Relationship!?

Kit (view spoiler)
I'm on chapter 13 now, I've been busy these last couple day, so I haven't had the time to read.

Kit [spoilers removed]..."

Kit (view spoiler)

The mom (view spoiler)

I'm so glad you liked it Megan!
I agree...near the end, you could just tell something was coming.
I'm so sad that Lochan felt he had to do what he had to do...
and I agree...I'm So SO glad that Maya is willing to give it a try and not make such a drastic decision yet.
He did it so she would be there.....
The mom...UGH! SO FRUSTRATING! I was SO MAD that ultimately is was SHE who got to take credit. I'm sure she felt like she was SUCH a good mom for what she did.
Ugh.... :(

I don't really know what I think about their relationship. It was unfair that they had to have the responsibility of taking care of their younger siblings, and they never really had the chance to just be teenagers. And I think that that made them become closer then most brothers and sisters are.
During certain parts of the book, they acted like a married couple. They were more like parents towards Kit, Tiffin and Willa than a big brother and sister.
