I'm sure I've seen this one before...Certainly the young boy in the sun (could have been on a record cover, but not one I have in my iTunes library...)

I am going to give up on these impressionists. I am not interested in their work for the most part. I have no interest in learning the secondary league of post, neo or simply plain impressionists. Sorry for the sour note, but I don't really like the movement. I did when I was a teen, but since then have discovered that which is more to my liking.
I've seen this painting somewhere, but I don't know where. Since no one has guessed it in three days, I checked out a few Polish artists to find "The Strange Garden" by Jozef Mehoffer. Mehoffer... I admit I've never heard the name before.But as I said I'm certain I've seen this work before. (I've been browsing record covers for the last two days on a site comparable to Goodreads but dedicated to music, to no avail)
About the stained glass, when you google "Mehoffer+stained glass" you find quit a lot of pics Heather!

Sometimes I see artwork when I browse through calendars and note cards at a museum, then I have no idea of where I saw it before.
Good luck everyone! I've never heard of this person but there was a member back in 2011 who posted this painting and I quite like it!
