Rachel had a strong reaction to Brandon’s friend, Tim, and had forbid him from being in her apartment. Why was Brandon so protective of him, being willing to fracture his relationship with his sister? Was this typical of a college student?

Laura I believe he was acting like a rebellious teenager. Not really college, more like a high schooler. Letting him in her laptop was immature.

Who does that??? It’s like letting someone go through your sibling’s phone. Even he wouldn’t have done that to Rachel. Him siding with “Tim” and being unwilling to consider he stole the flash drives was just stupid. He grew up real fast.

Laura I made that comparison too about his phone. I would have liked a told you so moment between him and Rachel.

Me, too! At the end, I was hoping for some enlightenment from Brandon.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments I think he was being a typical immature guy. He didn't like it that Rachel didn't want Tim in her place. How stupid that he let Tim go on her computer and take her flash drives. Even if he didn't realize what he was doing, he must have left him alone in her bedroom as he was able to pick up the drives and take them.

He was immature, yes. But he should have been as outraged as Rachel.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments For some reason Brandon really liked Tim and was willing to do what he wanted in order to gain his approval and friendship. He didn't see it as a betrayal of his sister. Very immature, for sure.

I got the impression that Tim represented a part of his culture that he felt he needed to connect to. He was blinded because of that.
