I can’t see the painting from this stupid phone, got to go to my PC.
My guess from way out there, is it Andy Warhol? Before he colored, or 'uncolored' his hair to that ghastly white!
No, not Warhol. This one is a bit older but not much.

I've seen it before in a Rothko book(he's one of my favorite painters) but the memory was still a bit fuzzy.
Rothko is not my favorite artist but I can appreciate his colorful ones.Towards the end of his life he painted them only in grey and black, sinking in a deep depression and finally committing suicide.
