Questions? Ask the Caretaker

It makes perfect sense! Now I know better how to plan for future ones. Thanks for the explanation!

Its fun; just a bit time consuming so I really don't mind. They would have been up last night but formulas are not my strong suit; they gave me a little bit of frustration and a
Made a quick supper and walked the dog! Now its time to read a little and crash for the night!

Darn, I thought I got all the duplicates.
Be back with a decision on what we will do about that soon

Does that mean the word "Brown" in the title, or brown text (color)?"
It was meant to be the word "brown" in the title ; but that wasn't very clear was it? Sorry. ( Do you think Cat will like my brown task? )

Thanks Carrie, I have found the problem! yes some tasks are similar, but the ones that are exact shouldn't be included. I think we may delete the sheets and repost. Chatting to laura now

Besides the ones Carrie mentioned, I also noticed:
#52 mentioning Jane Austen or her works was #80 in Month 2
#43 "trilogy" was #46 in month 2
#54 MPG Spiritual was #44 in Month 2
#142 word "peas" was #61 in Month 2

All good - I can see where the formula stopped working. We are fixing now and will delete and repost your sheets

Thanks Karen! Sorry to add extra work but I was pretty sure we shouldn't have so many exactly alike.

Will you be deleting the May/June task sheet, too?

Not quite ready yet
Until they are added to your own spreadsheet you can find them on the master sheet.

No worries, thank you! I didn't' realise there was a master sheet!

In that order but not necessarily in the same word ( to make it a bit easier)"
Awesome, thanks :)

I'm in Canada; its now 8:00 pm here and I 've missed supper so you all could have tasks!"
I did, once I found a book that would fit. Unfortunately, I think I had a little too much caffeine, and can't actually remember any of what I read, LMAO!
Off to go fit books to tasks some more. You've really not gone easy on us again! :)
I think this question may have gotten skipped in all the chaos last night: For task 7, would you accept the alternate spelling "donut?"

No it didn't get skipped; we were busy doing other things. It was on the list of things to do today after spreadsheets were locked.
Yes , that spelling variation is fine

I'm sorry, I truly didn't mean any offense. Thank you!

It is nice to be reminded because we are human and do forget things but this was on the radar.

Those links are hard to see sometimes. It has always been just underneath the signup link to the challenge

Is it a trick question? Like, does it have to be “somewhere in North America” but not a specific named place? Or am I just being paranoid and over-complicated? 🤔

Although I thought the same thing with the butter tart one last month and ended up finding those words together in like 10 books.

I suspect we could sweet talk Laura into allowing "mac and cheese" too. I've seen that in several books recently (though I'll no doubt not see it at all now for months!)

I actually was looking for multiple spellings already, because it doesn’t say “book with the words ‘macaroni and cheese’”, only that a character has to be eating it. Ergo, a character is eating this dish regardless of how it is spelled.

this has doughnut in the text multiple times. It happens to be my real life book club book for June.

that's just how the link works (one link to rule them all); any of the nominees for the year are valid - you have to go into each category to see the nominees
