Does that mean the word "Brown" in the title, or brown text (color)?

It makes perfect sense! Now I know better how to plan for future ones. Thanks for the explanation!

message 504: by Carrie (new)

Laura | 9707 comments Cathy M. wrote: "Awww appreciate it Laura! At least it's not too late so you can still grab something."

Its fun; just a bit time consuming so I really don't mind. They would have been up last night but formulas are not my strong suit; they gave me a little bit of frustration and a tiny bit of delay while I waited for timezones and Karen to come to my rescue!

Made a quick supper and walked the dog! Now its time to read a little and crash for the night!

Laura | 9707 comments June wrote: "Just a note for the creators, the new task for May/June, 18 and 33 are the same."

Darn, I thought I got all the duplicates.

Be back with a decision on what we will do about that soon

It was meant to be the word "brown" in the title ; but that wasn't very clear was it? Sorry. ( Do you think Cat will like my brown task? )

Carrie wrote: "Seems like a lot of repeats from previous months too."

Can you provide some examples please?
We have formulas that check for just that and the formulas are working. It is possible some tasks have slightly different wording which would impact the formula ; so it would be good to know that so we can update the master list for future

For task 7, would you accept the alternate spelling "donut?"

Looks like it has picked up a ) at the end. Just delete that in your browser bar. So it should say:

Thanks Carrie, I have found the problem! yes some tasks are similar, but the ones that are exact shouldn't be included. I think we may delete the sheets and repost. Chatting to laura now

I did, once I found a book that would fit. Unfortunately, I think I had a little too much caffeine, and can't actually remember any of what I read, LMAO!

Off to go fit books to tasks some more. You've really not gone easy on us again! :)

No it didn't get skipped; we were busy doing other things. It was on the list of things to do today after spreadsheets were locked.

Yes , that spelling variation is fine

Alysa H. | 3840 comments The May bonus task seems so.... easy.
Is it a trick question? Like, does it have to be “somewhere in North America” but not a specific named place? Or am I just being paranoid and over-complicated? 🤔

I suspect we could sweet talk Laura into allowing "mac and cheese" too. I've seen that in several books recently (though I'll no doubt not see it at all now for months!)

I actually was looking for multiple spellings already, because it doesn’t say “book with the words ‘macaroni and cheese’”, only that a character has to be eating it. Ergo, a character is eating this dish regardless of how it is spelled.

that's just how the link works (one link to rule them all); any of the nominees for the year are valid - you have to go into each category to see the nominees
