For the bonus question, does the author have to be born in Canada, or can they be a Canadian citizen and be listed as Canadian, even if born in another country?


and for question 2, does the red & white cover have to be only red and white, or can it also have black? I was thinking this one:

The author has to be born in Canada.

The red and white cover is to represent the Canadian Flag which is only red and white so no other colors allowed for this task.

On the Leaf tab.... did Mary and Mya’s totals get swapped or something?

Does the buddy read have to be ONLY two people reading? Or can more join if they want?

The master sheet has me reading 23 books, I have read only 15. It also has my total wrong. Just letting u know , no worries.

I think that's been corrected together with the Mya & Mary HDLS issue.

I'm glad I went for the max in month 1 because I don't see that happening in month 2 after looking at the tasks.

So for the buddy read one, you only get points if you are the one to suggest the BR and not just participating?

I know it was previously said that the red and white cover had to be red and white only, but if a book has a bit of black writing or shadowing, does that mean it doesn't count?

So for the task "Read a book whose author died this year" it means that the author must have died between January 01 and April 21, 2019? Anybody got any idea whether any lists of deceased authors exist? Tried searching the Listopia, but no luck.

There's a list of authors that died this year on Fantasticfiction. It's not a long list unless they are missing some.

I found a book with actual diamonds on the cover on my audible romance wish list anyway.

What about my buddy read question? Do you only get points if you were the one to suggest the buddy read? That could potentially be a lot of buddy reads going.

And what if you suggest a buddy read but no one joins?

Or say they will but then don't and you read the book?

TinEye doesn’t seem to be reading the lettering as white, but it looks white to me.

I like that the bonus option is only 1 book this month. Also finding easier to find 100 pt books than I thought although that butter tart one is killer. I've just been checking books I wanted to read soon and have multiple with 2 of the ingredients but not 3.

Is exact spelling required for the popular girls names from Spain? Example Sylvia for Silvia or Chloe for Cloe?

Would this work for red & white? The darker parts seem to just be darker shades of red, but not certain, and don't know if it needs to be flat colour like on a flag?

It was a great idea but not a feasible one for everyone to suggest a buddy read and find someone to read with; so we are amending this task to :
Suggest a book or join a buddy read starting on / after 21 April and read with a buddy - or new buddies
**** This task won't be reworded on your spreadsheets

Its not a buddy read if no one joins. Suggest another book.
The revised task is contingent on suggesting and reading a book with a buddy(ies) OR joining and reading a book with a buddy(ies)
