Since this is a group for everyone and it isn't ya or adult based I wanted us to kind of share what types of books we read, this way you guys can see what other people like to read and so that we can do read alongs in the future.
I'm thinking you guys can add posts and create your own little group inside the group for readers that read the same books or books under the same audience group that other people do. This way we can all participate in read alongs as we wish.

I'm a big ya and (sometimes) middle grade reader, I'll start a ya and middle grade page...

if you wat to start a page please move it into a different folder other than just 'general' (you can make your own folder) please make sure that someone hasn't already made the same page that you want to make, this way we don't have duplicates.
For example, if I wanted to make a "middle grade' post for middle grade readers to collaborate on I would make a 'middle grade' folder and add a post titled 'middle grade' (or some like that.)

Olivia's Bookish Places & Spaces I love YA - particularly the fantasy genre of YA. There are so many amazing YA authors out there.

Olivia, what do you like about YA fantasy over adult fantasy?

Taylor (taedur) | 2 comments I started off reading exclusively adult horror novels (I really like the paranormal/haunted house aspect more than the serial killer type stuff) but I'm trying to expand my horizons.

Now I find myself trying to read more YA horror or adventure/fantasy stuff.

Chris (stardustedreads) | 22 comments I read YA and Adult. No particular hang ups on genre but I do prefer character driven stuff & magical realism & speculative stuff most of all

Jahnvi (jahnvi1218) I love YA and mostly dystopian.

hannah mae | 2 comments I mostly read YA, new adult, manga, and the occasional middle grade! I love variety in what I read and it’s just fun exploring different content! I especially prefer when the writing isn’t overly flowery as I sometimes have a hard time focusing.

I feel kinda bad for asking, but what exactly is manga? I can never get a good answer.

Yasaswi Suryadevara (yasaswisuryadevara) | 7 comments I read YA and Indian mythology mostly. But I love Mafia books and middle grader novels.

message 11: by Teena (new)

Teena I mostly like to read adult books with focus on romance, thriller/suspense, and dark-theme. However, I would read any kind of book as long as it has a plot that interests me.

message 12: by Hilary (new)

Hilary (goodreadscomhilary) Mostly mysteries - preferably small town with a nicely flawed detective :-) Also exploring science fiction, but they have to have good characters and not get bogged down in too much world building.

message 13: by Kent (new)

Kent Reed (kentr33d) graphic novels, Mysteries, thrillers, science fiction, and historical reality.

MoodyReader2.0 (zjeena) | 5 comments I love YA fantasy, fiction and psychological thrillers. I also sometimes read classics.
