What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

This book was written between 2012 and 2017. The way it was written is very interesting- the narrator writes in old English with that unusual spelling. I think it might have to do with the male narrator going on a sort of quest.
It was written by a man. I think the cover might had some sort of medieval drawing, but I’m not completely sure.

Maybe The Wake by Paul Kingsnorth? Hardcover was published in 2014.
