Thank you! In addition to the move, I'm selling my mom's house (she passed away in December) and signing papers tomorrow for that, plus my cat had kittens I am trying to give away, and my car needs to go to the shop. It never rains but pours sometimes!!

I'll be starting 2 books:

Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor
The Young Elites by Marie Lu

Both can count for Mod rated 1 or 2 stars, but Daughter of smoke & bone can also go for reread a favorite book.
Let me know if you want me to put them as 1-2 stars for hunt 2&3 or both for hunt 2

I've uploaded my book to the review thread so First Hunt is complete!

Yay! I was moving this past weekend and missed this awesome message! I'm going to post a lot of books tonight!!

I'm trying to plan out what books I read the rest of the month and help as much as possible with our second hunt. I found books on my TBR that can fit any of the following categories:

- Cover has a person with red hair
- Cover has a moon/stars
- Cover has an item of art
- A book that a mod rated 1 or 2 stars
- A book off Alaina's favorites shelf
- Author's first name starts with a Z
- Australian author
- Title that rhymes
- Reread a favorite book
- Within first 25 on YA Weapon on Cover list
- MPG adventure
- Animal as the MC

But I will probably only be able to finish 2 or 3 more this month, so I was wondering if anyone else plans to read for any of these or thinks they might. In that case, I would read one of the other categories instead. Or if people think some of these categories sound harder to fill than others, I could start with those.

I think these are probably the hardest if you want to choose from them:

- Cover has an item of art
- Author's first name starts with a Z
- Within first 25 on YA Weapon on Cover list
- Animal as the MC
- A book that a mod rated 1 or 2 stars

I will read animal as MC, plus I added some books tonight. I already added a person with red hair and moon/stars on cover.

@Jammin Jenny literally see my post a couple above yours I already stated I have 2 books working for mod rated 1 or 2 stars and asked where I should put what book ....

Oh, Damselflies, I forgot your post also! Thanks for bringing it up again! In my opinion, I would say use both for hunt 2 so we can finish it sooner! And I will not start books for those categories.

I would use The Young Elites for Mod rated 1 or 2 stars, and Daughter of Smoke & Bone for re-read a favorite book.

I just added second chance romance. I am going back through books that I read but never posted, and some I didn't review yet so I need to skim or something to try to remember. LOL Ugh...darn memory!

Hey guys. I kind of messed up when posting Claire's books - I posted the books from Hunt #1! That will teach me to do these things when I'm tired.

Anywho, if all of Claire's books in the sheet for Hunt #2 are reviewed, then here are the only other books we need to claim/finish to get the bonus for Hunt #2 and post any books we've banked in Hunt #3:

I can't remember who requested book suggestions from the Mods, but I think those are probably covered (whoever you are please put the books in those slots).

Does anyone have any books you can read to cover one or more of these tasks? If not, no worries. It's all in fun...

I just realized can count for "published from the year you were born". I currently have it under "title letters are gold" but that one might be easier to fill, so I could move it.

I might be able to finish one more (or mayyybe two) besides the ones I am currently reading. I will wait until I am ready to start another to see what categories we still need by then.

Sounds good to me, and I agree that the title in gold will be easier than year you were born.

I couldn't find Claire's claimed fiction book on her shelves so MPG Fiction is open again. I'm sure some books currently posted in Hunt 3 could work.

Also for the books posted in Hunt 3, we might want to double check and see if they are on the Mods favorite shelves...if you didn't check already.

I noticed Claire’s Jurassic Park is listed under “Alaina’s favorites” for hunt 1 and hunt 2. Is this a mistake? Do we still need a book from Alaina’s favorites for hunt 2?

Anna, I think you had said you got a recommendation from each of the mods. Are you still reading your rec from Felicia? And Jenny, since we used Anna’s rec from Andrea for hunt 1 I think yours didn’t get used yet - are you still reading that?

Yes I still plan on reading the recommendations I got from Andrea and Alaina. I put them both on Hunt #2. But again, if Anna reads hers first I'm fine with that.

hi! just wanted to check in to apologise about being so absent lately! I’ve hit a reading slump and haven’t finished a book in a week or two 🙈 I’ll try my best to get back to normal but things are getting a little hectic so sorry about that

I'm wondering if all of the blanks for the Second Hunt really are unclaimed. I can read for some of them or look for books, if we need them.

Vicki they are as far as I know. I have put all the books I am reading into the SS already. If you can fill any that would be great!

I should finish reread favorite author tomorrow and 2-star book either tomorrow also or early on the last day

I'm not going to finish Alaina's recommendation this month so I removed that book.

I'm actually comparing now. I made a new column (In Mod Ttl?) and put an N or No if we still need to post for that task. There were some differences between what we said we'd finished and what was crossed off the list. If each of us can confirm we made the post, then we can reply to that post asking to update the tracking post.

A lot of the books appear to be Claire's. We can post for her if we can link to her review of the book and the default page count.

I posted the review for norse mythology so I think something went wrong on mod's side of noting it down ?
As for Young Elites, finishing that up and then I might get the red, white & royal blue done, maybe

I'm thinking the same for a lot of them. So if you already posted, just refer back to that post or reply to it and ask them to update their tracking.

Yeah I was planning on doing that 22% left of young elites and I'm at 35% for the other book so hope I finish the other one on time -fingers crossed-
