Hey peeps! It is approaching the end of the month and I don't want those skips to go to waste this time. Which categories do you think we should use them for?

I was thinking: mentions lifeguard, author 1st name same as your middle name, and either flip flops on the cover or art on the cover. What do you guys think?

Definitely lifeguard and 1st name since they were so hard the first time around. How many skips do we get?

Okay. I think the 3rd should be flipflops, since that new list Felicia posted has a lot of art books.
Anyone else have opinions?

Up to you guys but I already have a book picked out for 1st name the same as your middle name. I just haven't gotten to it yet. Too many migraines lately.

I'm not sure about Spain, but I don't think Italy is very tropical. Maybe ask for clarification on the Q&A page?

KK. I will do so after I plan for June. I also have to confirm it was Spain. I can't remember I just know it was set in Europe in general and she moved around a bit.

yeah, the tropical one is hard. It might be a good candidate for a skip.

If I put a BOTM into the spreadsheet, should I triple the points manually or ask a mod to do it?

The romance I just finished mentioned a lifeguard - yay! So we can use our pass on something else. What about the seasonal/floral name?

We only have a few more days left in May.

Since we've knocked out a couple of the tough categories, I'd like to suggest using our passes for:

1) set in a tropical location
2) seasonal/floral named character
3) J-U-N-E in title (I don't have anything with a "J" in the title planned, do you?)

The minute June hits, we get another 3 passes.

I was hoping to have one for that but the book I requested has a wait list. Hopefully I will have it for round 3.

Ok, I just realized that one of the books that I'm about 1/4 done with is set in Florida - having lived there it is definitely a tropical location.

How about we do Felicia's favorites instead. The darn girl needs to have more favorite books! Frankly, I'm appalled she has so few (winking at you Felicia!)! I've already read most of them and I don't see any on our sheet that we could move to that category. What do you think?
