I read this book for the ATY 2019 Reading Challenge Week 1: Winner or nominated in a favorite genre.

Love reading about Flavia de Luce and her adventures. It is finally official, Flavia's mother has died, been found, and been returned home for burial. Even though she has been gone for 10 years, the finality has struck the family very deeply. Flavia has many schemes to bring happiness back to her family, but they are thwarted. Finally, she is left with solving the death of her mother, the death of the man pushed under the train, and discovering who the Gamekeeper is. I thought it was a chaotic book with so much going on, so many characters, and so much for Flavia to do, but still it is a 5 star in my opinion for it all comes together in the end, with some convenient loose ends to tie up in another book.
