My name is Khrystyna. I am one of your moderators! I am 29 years old and I am a Human Resources Generalist for a large Health Organization. Currently studying for my pHR Certification. I am a mother of a one year old. And I am loving every second of it. I am currently doing a "unwrapping" reading challenge where I have wrapped all my physical tbr books in pink wrapping paper. This has been very motivating to get through my physical tbr.

I love to read. That is why I am on goodreads. Reading is a way for me to escape reality. It's my therapy. And I am trying to convince a lot of my friends who aren't readers, to pick up a book.

I already read the Lunar Chronicles and absolutely loved that entire series.

A little bit about me I'm a writer currently trying to write my own novel (psychological suspense thriller) and in the meantime, I read constantly and write a ton of reviews and spend WAY to much time on Bookstagram (lol).

I am 25 years old from Boston, Massachusetts!!
I love Football and Mexican food. I have two Tuxedo Cats that I rescued six-years ago (this July) and they are my babies!!
I also have a boyfriend of six-years (just celebrated this April) and I love to travel.

I am attending BookCon for the first time ever this year and if you're going to be there please let me know, I'd love to meet!

This is going to be my first time at BookCon so I'm both nervous and excited at the same time!!

Any newbie tips to share with me?

And yes, Nicole is great!! I'm grateful for her friendship and for introducing me to this great group!

I'm looking forward to being apart of more discussions with you all and BOTM is something I look forward to, so I'd love to help with the pick!!

Also, I'd recommend this book to anyone thriller newbie or not. I can't stress enough on how good The Silent Patient is.

It's a must-read for sure. And my favorite thriller to date. If you ever get a chance to read it please let me know!!

Sorry for the late reply, I was away on vacation.

BookCon is going to be so much fun!! Only tip I can give you is don't stress. A lot of people want to meet authors and get their pictures taken, but these authors are usually there every year. This is my third time going and I have now just begun the whole author signing. Best tip is to have fun! Walk around at first and take in all the books that you see. And then start to join in on the events and panels. :)

Please post your BOTM recommendations and or nominations, second nominations in the BOTM post. We need some more books :)

I speak Romanian, English, German and some satisfactory Russian. An now I am having my way with Polish 😂
I don't really mind at all!
I would really love to have my own tea house with an incorporated bookshop. This would probably be a dream of mine

Oh that's pretty neath! I only know how to say good day, thank you and how to count to 10 in German haha.
I understand Russian and Polish. But I can not speak or read it very well. I am Ukrainian so its a tiny bit similar.
A tea house sounds like such a wonderful idea!! I wish you the best of luck in your studies :) I hope someday your dream comes true and we can all have tea together <3

Well hi there neighbour 😉 After learning Russian I can say for sure that Ukrainian is very different from it (I think it is more similar to Polish than Russian). I think Ukrainian is beautiful, I listen to so many Ukrainian songs!

Omg thank you! People keep saying its very similar to Russian. And its like not.. not really. Polish is so hard to read for me. But I can at least understand it.

Hi - my name is Pam. I read pretty much anything apart from high fantasy, which just isn’t my thing. I’m doing the 52 book challenge, which has been great and had challenged me to read a wide range of books I probably wouldn’t have picked up otherwise!
