Lexi | 4254 comments I added another one, so I have two to go to reach 70% this month, but I am very excited about this one - This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar

edited: Well, that was a let down - 3 stars

message 53: by Vicki Willis (new)

Vicki Willis | 496 comments I finished my 3rd (and probably last) for the month.
I'll Never Tell by Catherine McKenzie I'll Never Tell

I enjoy this author and loved the setting, which was summer camp. The characters were unlikable though and the ending a little underwhelming. I gave it 3 stars.

my review

Eight Lives by Susan Hurley
It was a pretty good medical mystery

Alysa H. | 3840 comments Three more down!

Seven Blades in Black by Sam Sykes (my review)
The October Man by Ben Aaronovitch (my review)
In the Shadow of Spindrift House by Mira Grant (my review)

I'm also in the middles of two more, and may squeeze in another by the end of Friday. I'm trying to compensate for how many new ones I've gotten since the start of May. (That idea I had about not requesting more than I can read did not work out so well!) I don't think I'll sign up for the June NG challenge though. There are just too few additional NG's lined up in my reading plans for the Right Side Up Spring Challenge! Perhaps I will have my vengeance in July.

I'm also..."

Nice work! I only managed one this month - but it was the one that published this month, so that's a plus.

Good for you! Mine have been a mix of new and old stuff. I really need to be more diligent about Pub dates, generally.

One of the books I'm still reading is The Heart of the Circle by Keren Landsman which doesn't come out until August (in English translation). It's the only book I'm reading this month which I was only just approved for this month. (Unfortunately I don't like it very much!)

What a bummer! I hope it gets better.

message 59: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 4254 comments I finished my last one for the month and I made it above 70%.

message 60: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 3595 comments Way to go, Lexi!

message 61: by Alysa (new)

Alysa H. | 3840 comments Hah! I read 3 more...

Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield The Heart of the Circle by Keren Landsman Riots I Have Known by Ryan Chapman

... and will finish yet another (my 10th and last for the month!) by the end of the day:
The Lost History of Dreams by Kris Waldherr

I won't have time to write reviews for these until probably Monday, but once I do that, my ratio will go up 1% so that's something :D

Tari (thann) | 314 comments Post 13 was updated for May. I'm really happy with how I increased my % this month. On to June!

Barbara Sousa | 34 comments I finished 3 books for the month of May, while only adding 2 more! My updated information can be found at message 16.

message 66: by Kristie (new)

Kristie | 3595 comments I was hoping to finish one more this month, but that's not going happen. I finished 2 and didn't add any, so that's great for me. :) Original message 5.
