Tylor (tylorschmidt) Dorothy Must Die (Dorothy Must Die, #1) by Danielle Paige

Tylor (tylorschmidt) Lost Tribe of the Sith The Collected Stories (Star Wars Lost Tribe of the Sith) by John Jackson Miller
Lost Tribe of the Sith: The Collected Stories

Finished on May 10th. Took me until almost the end of the second short story to like this. At first I didn't think any of the stories ties in to each other. Great collection of stories!!

Tylor (tylorschmidt) Yellow Brick War (Dorothy Must Die, #3) by Danielle Paige
Yellow Brick War

Finished on July 11th. Summer is a difficult month for reading. Have so much stuff going on. College World Series, Fourth of July, etc. I finally finished it though. Better than the first book but I think I liked the second better.

Tylor (tylorschmidt) Revan (Star Wars The Old Republic, #1) by Drew Karpyshyn
Revan

Finished on July 18th. Really, really loved this book!! I loved playing the games and this book just added on to my love of the games and the story of Revan. So far my favorite Star Wars book I've read!! Hopefully, one of the next books adds on to this story.

Tylor (tylorschmidt) The End of Oz (Dorothy Must Die, #4) by Danielle Paige
The End of Oz

Finished on August 21st. Finally finished the series!! I really enjoyed this series and this book just added some new perspectives to it. I just wish it would have ended a little differently. It just makes it seem like she could keep the series going. I think 3 or 4 books (5 at the most) is a good length for a series. Great series overall though!!

Tylor (tylorschmidt) Deceived (Star Wars The Old Republic, #2) by Paul S. Kemp
Deceived

Finished on September 23rd. Again, I really liked this book!! I guess you can say I'm a big Star Wars fan. It is probably even with Revan or in a close second place to Revan. I didn't like the outcome of the final fight but I did love the characters and their stories.

On a different note, I love the Star Wars books, I just don't really care for the fact that their story line is over in one book and they don't keep going. Would love to learn more of what happens to some characters.

Tylor (tylorschmidt) The Finisher (Vega Jane, #1) by David Baldacci
The Finisher

Finished on October 20th. This one took me a lot longer to read because I think it was the longest book I've read this year. I really liked the book though!! It took me a little bit to get used to the different words and slang the author came up with and I wish he would have described his creatures he created a little more in depth but besides that, really good book!!

I finished my reading goal for this year and still have two and a half months to go. I knew I was aiming low but I achieved it!! Go me!!

Tylor (tylorschmidt) New Orleans Vampires History and Legend by Marita Woywod Crandle
New Orleans Vampires: History and Legend

Finished on November 12th. On my recent trip to New Orleans with my wife, we stopped by a vampire shop called Boutique du Vampyre. I bought this book from that shop which is owned by the author herself. The book is signed by her as well.

I don't usually ready historical, non-fiction books but I really like vampires and their history. This book has three different stories about "vampires" from New Orleans. It was a great read and I learned a lot, not just about vampires either. Can't wait to go back to New Orleans to stop by some of the places she mentioned.
